Boudoir Photography FAQ

I've never done anything like this before, I'm nervous!

Good. That means you're human! Most women who apply to shoot with us say they're "getting there" with their confidence, so you're in good company. This is a body positive space and we handle everything, guiding you through every step. Your only job is to show up and be pampered.

How long is a Session?

The photoshoot itself is about 1 to 1.5 hours of shoot time. Counting hair and makeup, plan on about five hours with us, starting at 10AM. You get sneak peeks the same day, and your full reveal and ordering session happens about a week later. Most clients are buzzing when they leave, and that's the point. I want you walking out on a self love high, excited about what you just did for yourself.

Can I bring my friend, partner or kids to the session?

Yes! These are some of our favorite sessions to shoot! Bri announces her travel dates on Instagram @brivalienteboudoir and usually plans a day to shoot locals in that area. Wondering if Bri can travel to you? She can! Travel expenses are added to your package.

Can I use my own makeup artist and skip the fee?

Our Glam Squad knows exactly how important this photoshoot is to you, and they know how to make you look and feel your best for studio lighting and print. They've perfected making you look amazing under any light and any condition we hit in the studio. Hair and makeup is part of the all inclusive luxury experience we offer, so the fee can't be waived. Trust us, you're in very good hands.

You deserve this time to unwind and be unapologetically you. I want you comfortable and getting used to the camera without an audience. Because of the nature of my work (boudoir), minors under 18 are not allowed in the studio on your session day. Partners are only welcome in the studio if you've booked a Couples Session.

What is included in the session fee?

Your session fee includes professional hair and makeup, a planning consultation, full access to our 400+ piece client closet (XXS to 6X), up to 2 hours of shooting and professional retouching. Products are purchased after your session at your Viewing & Ordering Session. Prepayment plans are required.
